Looking for a day out. These are some of many adventures going on during the year.

Easter at the Farm:

2026 TBD

Hillside’s annual Easter egg hunt and festival is on the Saturday before Easter. We hide over 10,000 eggs. Hunt is open to kids’ age 0-10, Hunt is Free. There is even an egg draw in the store for adults. Bunny will be at the Farm starting at 10 am for Pictures and Lunch. Farm actives all day, see Facebook Page for more information.

Farm Hayride:

FOR FALL:

The hayride to the barnyard will be running starting the first weekend in September hourly.

Weekdays hayrides can be scheduled by appointment in the afternoons due to field trips Cost $2 per person to ride, under 2 is free. Goat feed can be purchased along with hayride for $.50 a bag.

The Farm Train:

During Fall

The farm train runs leisurely every hour around the farm. Slow steady ride around the farm and thru the apple orchard.

Weekday Train rides are scheduled by appointment afternoon only due to fall field trips.

The cost of the Farm train is $4 per person, under 2 is free.

Pick-ur-own Apples & Muscadines:

2025 u-pick are available this year until they are picked out.

Little Mitcham’s Gem Mine:

Open Daily
Bags Range from $5-$20, bags include mixed gems, emeralds, fossils, arrowheads or all of the above
Come Visit with Miner Jim and Donkey and See the show between the two in our indoor gem mine and flume.

Playground, Barnyard, Greenhouse, Giant Sand box, and Antique Equipment:

All of these attractions are available to visit. Playground is free for kids to play, Equipment on playground is for kids under 10. Visit the animals out at the farm. The walk around the farm is a ½ mile stroll by Stonewall Creek.
